Irina Valery is a young designer from Saint-Petersburg, Russia, who graduated from
Saint-Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design with honours in 2009 with a major in “Fashion design”.
She began her career in 2004 as a lingerie designer at Lowry company. In 2007, she became the award recipient of the international competition among young designers “Admiralty Needle” in the “Lingerie” nomination, and the very next year she became the winner in the same nomination.
In 2009, Irina Valery participated in the Seventh St. Petersburg Design Biennale.
Among the works of the fashion designer are individual orders for famous people of St. Petersburg, including singer Zara.
The works of the young designer are inspired by the masterpieces of the great modernists of the 20th century. A distinctive feature of the Irina Valery collections is the use of the method of transformation, a combination of various types of fabrics, a complex cut of her creations.
